Washington: Although Hillary Clinton has left his post as United States (US) Secretary of States and is keen to spend her holidays with family but she is still more popular than President Barack Obama and other politicians as showed a newly conducted survey.
A Quinnipiac University poll released on Friday revealed that the just-departed secretary of state is the most popular national political figure among a number of luminaries. Clinton’s favorability rating of 61 percent compares to the 51 percent of respondents who viewed Obama favorably.
Clinton, who has been touted as a possible presidential candidate in 2016, topped a group including Vice President Joseph Biden, House Speaker John Boehner, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and Clinton successor Secretary of State John Kerry.
The telephone poll was conducted Jan. 30-Feb. 4, as Clinton was leaving her job. Pollsters surveyed 1,772 registered voters.
