Islamabad: Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) founder Tahir-ul-Qadri on Thursday filed petition in the Supreme Court for the reconstitution of the Election Commission.
While talking to reporters outside the apex court building before submitting the plea, Qadri said that he would appear before the apex court as in person in the case, adding that he had confidence over the court.
He said that the government had overruled constitution while constituting the Election Commission. “The current Election Commission is unconstitutional,” he insisted.
