Lahore: Banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief, Hafiz Mohammad Saeed on Monday said that Indian Minister for Home Affairs had confessed involvement of Hindu extremist parties over launching attacks against Pakistan’s interests and now it should be taken forward to declare them a “terrorist state”.
During a press conference in Lahore, Hafiz Saeed said that the Indian minister’s confession was great break-through as they always hide their terrorist activities likewise in Mumbai attacks.
Saeed further asked United States as to why they were not declaring India as a ‘terrorist state’ instead of confession by a government official. He also demanded the countries seeking for global peace to take serious notice of the the minister’s statement.
He added that trade agreements between India and Pakistan would remain fruitless until India change its attitude towards Pakistan.
The religious leader further accused that US and India had never accepted the nuclear status of Pakistan and now it was the responsibility of the government to take bold steps in safeguarding the nuclear arsenals and giving an appropriate reply to the Indian confession.
