Peshawar: Peshawar police on Thursday baton-charged and fired teargas shells on dozens of students of Khyber Agency who were protesting against the killing of 18 Bara tribesmen outside the city’s press club.
Sources said that dozens of students staged protest outside Peshawar press club and suspended the traffic on Sher Shah Soori road.
Police baton-charged and fired tear shells on the students who were chanting slogans against the federal and provincial governments.
In reply, the students also pelted stones over the policemen.
