Karachi: Angry Shiite protestors on Sunday night tortured senior members of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sharjeel Inam Memon and Pir Mazharul Haq, outside Bilawal House in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
According to sources, the two leaders who arrived at the spot of sit-in outside the Bilawal House for holding talks were tortured by the angry youngsters.
The mob cordoned-off the ministers and threw bottles and sticks towards them.
The security guards of the two ministers finally came in and safely rescued them. No damages were reported from both the sides.
It is to be mentioned here that the Shiite outfits were staging a protest against the deadly blasts in Quetta, which killed at least 114 people, outside Bilawal House, where President Asif Ali Zardari was present at the time.
The protestors demanded government to arrest the culprits with 24 hours otherwise the government would be responsible for the bitter consequences.
