Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehrik and Minhajul Quran International Founder Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that his long march is in accordance with the country’s Constitution and any act of hindrance the long march will a contempt of court.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday, Qadri said that all the petitions against the march had been dropped by the high courts of the country, adding that any action to stop his workers from the long march will be a contempt of court.
He said that the terrorist activities were not new in the country. “There are only two possibilities either the government is supporting terrorists or it has completely failed to control them,” he added.
Qadri said that the federal and provincial government in the country had been failed to curb the terrorist from the country, adding that the government should accept their failure.
He said that the march was not for him to get in power but a struggle for the people of Pakistan.
