Madrid: Christian’s second biggest yearly event after Christmas ‘Three Kings festival’ was held on January 5th of this year in Madrid, Spain.
Thousands of children, adults along with their families had gathered to watch imaginative floats, acrobats and animals in the central Madrid on Saturday.
The important session of the festival is Three King Parade, in the eve of the Epiphany, in which three participants sit in decorated floats wearing Epiphany resembled special rochet, then they travel to different hightails of Spain.
The attendant kids were delighted by plenty of sweets thrown from the floats on to the crowd.
Majority of Spanish people consider the event more important than Christmas.
The Epiphany day is celebrated when the three wise men arrive in Bethlehem presenting Jesus with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh on January 6, 12 days after Christmas.
