Karachi: The people of Faisalabad have to face up-to 80 percent shortage of gas due to the standoff between government and industrial sector on load management plan.
The industrialist had announced to run factories ‘at all costs’ but had gas supply minimized to ‘almost nil’ by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. Resultantly, people of Maqbool Road, Kharyawala Road and Small Industries Estate suffered great trouble in carrying on with daily life activities.
Earlier, load management schedule was announced by the government, which the industrial sector refused to accept.
