Karachi: Trading hype at Pakistan stock markets continued on Thursday with Karachi and Islamabad registering remarkable growth.
KSE 100 index closed at 16806.58 points with the increment of 61.98 points. An overall trade of shares of 257 companies was witnessed, in which 210 registered growth, 122 saw decline while 25 sustained stability.
Mixed trend was seen at Lahore Stock Exchange. 102 companies participated in the trade, among which 36 enjoyed a surge, 16 experienced decline while 50 remained stable.
Islamabad bourse followed KSE suit with 97 companies registering growth, 47 saw decline among 144 total companies taking part in the trade.
