Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan has said that if Interpol doesn’t arrest General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, it would affect its credibility.
The FIA wrote to the global policing body for the third time to arrest former Pakistan president. In the letter, the agency has held the stance that Musharraf conspired to kill former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto to fulfill his political objectives.
Sources said that the latest writing includes ‘tangible evidence’ about the case. The earlier two letters by FIA were written on the directions of anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi, but the Interpol had sought more evidence to apprehend the former dictator.
