Charsadda: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Senator Zahid Khan on Monday said that the blasts will not deteriorate the stance taken by the party against militants and they will not suspend their rally.
The ANP leader expressed these views after a blast in the parking area of the ANP rally in Charsadda, a city of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhua province. At least three people were injured in the attack.
“Militants are targeting security forces and Awami National Party, they wanted to destroy Pakistan,” he said adding that ANP would not bow down before the extremist mindset.
He further said that the party had sacrificed its leaders and workers for the security of the country and they would continue to sacrifice their lives for the homeland.
“Finally, the win will be on our side and we will crush the roots of extremist mindset,” he added.
