Quetta: Quetta Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Hashim Ghalzaye has said that an anti-polio vaccination campaign will start in the provincial capital on Monday.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, the DC said that the campaign would start in three cities of the province including Quetta, Pishin and Qilla Abdullah.
“The government will take strict action against people who will try to create hurdles and parents resisting vaccination campaign,” the DC added.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan President Dr. Sultan Tareen showed his full support and directed all the doctors and paramedics to participate in the campaign as it was a sensitive matter.
However, he said that their strike would remain continue after the campaign.
