Karachi: Shakeel Abbasi, the star performer in Pakistan’s impressive win over mighty Germans in the quarter final of Champions Trophy, revealed the reason behind his excellent performance in the crucial match saying that he was feeling immense pressure as a senior player for not scoring a goal in last three matches.
Talking to media after the match, Abbasi said that he went on the field on Friday with a spirit to do something for the team in the crunch game.
He vowed to win the semi final against Netherlands but insisted on working hard to reach the final destination. “If we can get over Germany, we can beat any team.”
