Karachi: Three members of Sindh Assembly took fresh oath while one of them became minister for the first time after late-night talks were held between MQM and PPP.
The members, namely, Murad Ali Shah, Sadiq Memon and Khawaja Izharul Hasan took oath as a result of Sindh CM’s exercise of special powers under article 130 of the constitution. Moreover, Senator Raza Haroon of MQM has been made special advisor to CM Sindh.
The oath was taken by Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad in a ceremony held in this regard.
It may be noted that six members of Sindh Assembly including four ministers had tendered their resignation because they held dual nationalities.

Four members of National Assembly belonging to MQM have resigned from their seat on holding dual nationalities.
