Melbourne: Pakistan hockey team gets its first win of the Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy as they whipped Belgium 2-0 in their second match on Sunday.Pakistan scored both the goals in the second half with Haseem Khan and Shafqat Rasool scoring one each for Pakistan.
The match was played at the State Netball Hockey Centre, Melbourne in Australia.
Earlier, Pakistan lost to Holland by 1-3 in the opening match of the all important hockey event.
Pakistan’s next match against the Hockey giants Australia on Tuesday, December 4, is a must win game for the green shirt in order to qualify for the next stage of the tournament.
