Jeddah: Saudi King has appeared on Wednesday for the first time on TV since undergoing a back surgery on November 17.
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, 88, looked in good health as he was shown receiving members of the royal family in Riyadh, according to Al Arabiya.
Earlier, Crown Prince Salman assured cabinet members on Monday over king’s health.
In October last year, the king had a similar operation.
His half-brother Crown Prince Salman is the heir to the throne and was named successor after the death of Prince Nayef in June.
