Quetta: Keeping in view chaos in provincial hospitals, Balochistan government has decided to evacuate official residencies from doctors on strike on Tuesday.
Government sources said that decision was made in a high level meeting. The residencies would be evacuated from the doctors who have been allotted official houses. The government has already stopped the salaries of the doctors.
Secretary Health said that if young doctors didn’t join their duties in 24 hours they would be terminated.
The secretary suspended deputation of president Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) Dr. Samad Panzai in Jinnah Post Graduate Medical College Karachi and cancelled job orders of house officers of Civil Hospital and Balochistan Medical College.

As a security measure, commissioner and assistant commissioner of the provincial capital deployed police contingent outside civil hospital yesterday as five doctors left the strike and joined their duties.
On the other hand, PMA Balochistan has called an emergency meeting to discuss the future line of action in the light of government actions.
President of PMA Doctor Sultan Tareen has said that the government is trying to harass the doctors by pressurizing them but they will continue with their strike till their demands are met.
