Lahore: A case has been registered against the owners of a medical store in Punjab for allegedly selling poisonous drug causing deaths of 11 people.
According to police, the case was registered under article 302 of the constitution, indicting owners of the said medical store.
11 people have so far lost their lives due to the use of the medicine in the Shahed Reh area of Lahore. Four of these people died soon after taking it while the others succumbed to their condition in the hospital later.
It is to be noted that issuance of medicine without subscription has become a thing of routine across the country, sometimes inviting health complications, even death, to its users.
