Lahore: The extortion mafia is spreading its arms in the country and after increased incidents of extortion in Karachi, some unidentified men Monday opened fire on a shop in Lahore, a metropolitan of Pakistan, injuring three people.
According to sources, unidentified men opened fire on Rehman Autos near Data Darbar shrine, injuring Rehman and his two employes.
“The extortionists demanded 0.3 million and on refusal opened fire on the shop.”
Meanwhile, the injured were shifted to a local hospital in Lahore where doctors say that the condition of Rehman is critical while the other two are out of danger.
Police and other law enforcement authorities cordoned-off the area and started investigation regarding the new type of attack in the metropolitan city.
