Karachi: At least five people including two policemen and journalist were killed in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, during an ongoing wave of violence.
According to sources, a police official succumbed to death after fighting for his life since July 9, 2012, when he sustained injures during an attack on a police van of the Risala station.
One more policeman was killed and other injured in a firing incident in Mangopir area of the city.
In M.A Jinnah road, unidentified men opened fire near Memon mosque, killing one person at the spot while injuring two other people.
A sports reporter named as Ali Raza was shot dead in Khadda market area of the Lyari.
