Multan: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has demanded an unbiased commission to investigate the Asghar Khan case and said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will not the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) inquiry.
Addressing the farmers in Bahauddin Zakria University on Monday, Shahbaz said that the PML-N would accept the inquiry of any unbiased commission.
He said that who had given a right to President Zardari to raise question on them (PML-N), adding that Zardari himself shifted the public money in Swiss banks.
The CM alleged that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had looted the nation’s money in the name of development projects. “The unbiased commission has to investigate the looted money also,” he added.
He said that he would resign from his post if he proved corrupt.
