Kabul: As many as 15 people were killed and 18 were injured after a huge roadside bomb ripped through a minibus on the way to a wedding in northern Afghanistan on Friday.
Spokesman Shir Jan Durani said the group was travelling to Dawlat Abad district, about 450 kilometers (270 miles) northwest of the capital, Kabul.
Most of the victims were women and children, police said.
Nobody immediately claimed the responsibility of the blast.
