Islamabad: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Awami National Party staged walk out against the Karachi Electric Supply Company for sacking 4500 of its employees in the Senate on Thursday.
Senior PPP leader Senator Raza Rabbani said that the KESC administration told lie to the parliament that the employees got retirement under VSS. He said the KESC workers were sacked from their jobs and cases were registered against them on charges of terrorism.
The PPP stalwart also criticized his party and said “it is regretful that all this is happening in PPP government,”
He added that the PPP was violating its pro-labourer manifesto.
