Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned Hamid Saeed, a former Brigadier of Military Intelligence (MI) in Asghar Khna case.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case. During the hearing the CJ remarked “now no IJ would be formed, national interest lies in democratic process”.
Roidad Khan, a former bureaucrat, told the bench that according to Rafi Raza report, General Shujaat would oversee political wing of the ISI.
He said that the report now might be in the President House or the Prime Minister House. He said that Anjum Riaz had written an article in the TheNews over the establishment of the political wing. Others members of the bench include Justice Jawwad S Khuwaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.
