Peshawar: A Frontier Constabulary official was killed when the militants opened fire on the force during search operation near Peshawar city of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.
Sources said that the militants opened fire on the FC during the search operation in Bara Sehikhan area, an outskirt of the city, killing an FC official named Mohammad Ayaz.
The FC also claimed to have killed the attacker in retaliatory fire. They added that they had cordoned off the area and the search operation was also being carried out.
