Peshawar: Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ahsan ullah Ahsan Friday rejected Pakistan’s Interior Minister statement regarding operation in North Waziristan and said that they were ready to face any aggression from Pakistan Army.
Earlier on Friday, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the government would now review to launch operation in North Waziristan after an attack on 14 year old peace activist Malala Yousafzai.
According to media reports, the TTP spokesman said that Malik was diverting the attention of people from anti-Islam film.
North Waziristan is considered as an epicenter of Militancy threatening Pakistan, Afghanistan and Isaf troops. United States had demanded Pakistan on several occasions to launch an attack against Haqqani Network present in the area.
