Peshawar: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani on Wednesday visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Peshawar to inquire about the health of Malala Yousufzai.
The army chief was given briefing about the health condition of the young peace campaigner who was attacked by Taliban on Tuesday on her way home back from School in Mingora, Swat.
General Kayani met father of Malala Yousufzai and condemned terrorist attack on the girl.
The army chief said that human lives had no importance for the Taliban and they could stoop to any extent. He said that the cowardly attack on Malala Yousufzai was an indication of barbaric thought.
He vowed that the army would continue its war against terrorists.” We won’t bow down to terrorists,” he added.
Kayani added that the Taliban didn’t give importance to Hadiths.
