Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided suspend the membership of 283 parliamentarians who did not declare their assets from October 15.
“Almost 891 out of 1174 MP’s of Senate, National and Provincial Assemblies have apprised the ECP about their assets,” a private news television reported.
The report added that the ECP had asked 283 MP’s to submit the details of their assets by October 15 otherwise their membership would be suspended.
