Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar has said as per directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Governor, that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s (PTI) rally would not be allowed to go beyond Tank.
Talking to Geo news on Sunday, Mian Iftikhar said that the provincial government was not stopping the peace march of PTI against drone attacks, adding that if they had wanted to stop the rally then it would not have entered the province.
He said that the governor is a member of federation and the provincial government is bound to follow his directives.
Iftikhar said he think Imran Khan and the local administration had reached to the agreement that the rally would not cross Tank area.
“Imran Khan himself has said that the rally will stop if administration asked to do so peacefully,” he added.
