Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Team Skipper Mohammad Hafeez has accepted the responsibility of defeat against Sri Lanka and said that the omission and induction of one player do not make any difference.
“One player omission and induction won’t make any difference. Yes I myself held responsible for the lose [sic] (being the captain),” Geo News quoted Hafeez’s tweet.
Abdul Razzaq had alleged after returning Pakistan that the decision to drop him in the semi-final was made by captain M Hafeez and not by the management.
The skipper says that his fans will get the real picture of the story very soon.
“You will get the real picture very soon,” Hafeez replied to one of his fans on Twitter.
He also requested his fans to stop asking question about Abdul Razzaq’s issue. He tweeted, “Fans, please don’t ask anything regarding Razzaq issue. These things should be fixed in a dressing room.”
Meanwhile, another private television reported Hafeez as saying that he did not wrote any thing on the micro-blogging site.
