Lahore: Inspector General (IG) Punjab Haji Habib ur Rehman Wednesday directed law and enforcement authorities to remain alert within the limits of governor house Punjab.
According to Punjab police spokesperson, the alert has been issued after the secret agencies revealed the presence of former OGRA chief Tauqir Sadiq within the premises of governor house.
Supreme Court of Pakistan Tuesday ordered National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest the former oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) chairman over his illegal appointment.
Earlier, Punjab Law minister Rana Sanaullah warned Governor Punjab Latif Khosa to either present the former OGRA chief otherwise the police would raid the governor house.
However, the governor house had denied the presence of Tauqir Sadiq.
