Dadu: Some unidentified men hurled grenade near the residence of senior provincial minister and leader of PPP Sindh chapter, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq in Dadu district, an area of Pakistan’s province Sindh.
According to police, grenade was hurled near Pir Mazhar’s house in Shahani Muhalla area of Dadu district, causing no damages.
Police and law enforcement authorities cordoned-off the area and started search operation for the culprits.
It is to be mentioned here that the Sindhi nationalist parties on Monday observed strike across Sindh against the approval of Sindh People’s Local Ordinance (SPLO) from the provincial Assembly.
Except Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), all parties across Sindh criticised the new local bodies system and called it a conspiracy to divide Sindh.
The aggravated people also staged sit-in and protest outside the house of MPA’s and MNA’s across Sindh.
