London: President Asif Ali Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain met in London on Monday.
They discussed over all political situation in Pakistan with special focus on issues pertaining to Sindh and newly promulgated Sindh People’s Local Government System.
The president arrived here on a private trip following a visit to US where he attended meeting of United Nations’ General Assembly.
According to media reports, The president, who is also co-chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, and Altaf Hussain will exchange views on possible electoral alliance in the coming election, and issues of Balochistan and dual nationality.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik and MQM leaders Muhammad Anwar, Qasim Ali Raza and Mustafa Azizabadi were also present during the meeting.
