Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Police on Monday foiled a big terror bid in Badaber area on the outskirt of Peshawar city.
Sources said that the police launched a search operation in the area on a tip-off and recovered a 30 kilogramme explosives planted in a pushcart. “The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) called by the police rushed to the spot and defused the explosive,” they added.
Khursheed Shah, the deputy superintendent police, told media that the security forces were the target of plot, adding that the search operation was being launched in the area to arrest the militants.
