Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notice to abolish membership of 11 lawmakers .
The notification was issued following the Supreme Court instructions in dual nationality case on Thursday.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed the Election Commission to take back all the financial and other facilities from the parliamentarians within two weeks.
The EC has said that a decision regarding Rehman Malik would be taken later. The EC also summoned its meeting on Monday.
The other 10 disqualified lawmakers include Mohammad Ikhlaq, Ashraf Chohan, Naida Gabol, Waseen Qadir, Nadeem Khadim, Amna Batar and MNAs Zahid Iqbal, Farah Naz, Farhat Mahmood and Jameel Malik.
