Islamabad: An additional session’s judge on Monday directed police to submit a charge-sheet of the blasphemy case against Rimsha Masih by Sept 21.
The court said that the witnesses of the case should not be intimidated. The investigation police officer of the case sought time to present the charge sheet in the case and said the police’ s inspector general (IG) had constituted an investigative team headed by a senior superintendent of police (SSP) and that the case’s investigation had been completed.
Counsel of the petitioner pleaded that the bail of the girl be annulled and requested the court not to allow more time to police to submit the challan.
