Islamabad: The National Assembly has approved a resolution over country’s worst industrial tragedy that consumed at least 289 lives in Karachi and Lahore factory shoe factory fire incident that took 25 lives.
The resolution called for formation of judicial commission to probe the matter and determine the elements responsible for the tragedy.
The resolution adopted by the lower house of the parliament also demanded that all the victim families be compensated.
