Sharjah: Pakistan cricket team lose momentum of their good start against Australia in the third One Day International (ODI) at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and scored 244 runs for the loss of seven wickets.
The early momentum provided by 129 run partnership between Nasir Jamshed and Mohammad Hafeez was not utilized by the other batsmen and six more wickets fell with the increase of only 115 runs.
Mohammad Hafeez, who scored 78 runs, remained the leading run-scorer from Pakistan side accompanied by 48 runs from Jamshed. Other Pakistani batsmen failed to cross 30’s.
After the 129 runs partnership for the first wicket, Australian bowlers came back strongly and restricted their opponents to a reasonable total.
Mitchell Starc once again bowled beautifully well and took four wickets accompanied by Johnson 2 and Clarke 1.
