Kabul: At least 12 people including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Bajur Agency leader, Mullah Dadullah, were killed on Friday in a drone strike conducted by Nato forces in Kunar, a province of Afghanistan.
Governor Kunar, Syed Fazlullah Waheedi, told media that Dadullah was among 12 militants killed in air strike at mountainous region of Shigal, a district of Kunar province.
He further said that almost seven Pakistani militants were also injured in the attack which were shifted to a local hospital.
It is to be mentioned here that Dadullah escaped the military operation in Bajur Agency during 2008. Later, he setup hideouts in Kunar, province of Afghanistan, targeting Pakistan army in cross border attacks.
The TTP leader was also involved in abducting 30 children of Mamond tribe at the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in 2011.
