Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) of Monday granted transit bail to Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao head and former Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao in Akbar Bugti murder case.
Justice Shah Jahan Akhundzada, the PHC judge, accepted his plea and granted him transit bail till August 30.
Aftab while talking to media said that his name was not written in the First Information Report (FIR). He added that the Balochistan law and order was the issue of provincial government.
He said that he had submitted his statement in the Balochistan High Court (BHC), adding that he had fully cooperated in the investigation.
