Islamabad: Rumours have been rife that Awami Muslim League Chief and Former Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid is joining Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf. But Central Secretary Information PTI Shafqat Mahmood has denied any such news.
The news has been doing the rounds in various forums that Rashid is likely to be accepted by the PTI on August 14 during a public meeting, which would also be attended by PTI Chief Imran Khan.
Mahmood tweeted on Wednesday that the news about Rashid inclusion in the PTI is just a rumour.
There is no truth to the news that Sheikh Rashid Ahmed is joining PTI
