Washington: United State (US) State Department Spokeswomen Victoria Nuland on Tuesday said that the talks between Pakistan and US on Nato supplies have finally resulted in theĀ restoration of the supplies.
Giving a press briefing at State Department, Nuland said that some technical and political hindrances created problems in the reopening of the supplies.
“US is not giving Pakistan excess amount for restoration of the supplies,” she said.
Responding to a question regarding the apology on Salala attack, the spokeswomen laughed and refused to repeat the words of apology used by State Secretary Hilary Clinton.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she told Pakistanās foreign minister in a telephone conversation that the U.S. is āsorry for the losses suffered by the Pakistani military.ā She says both sides acknowledged mistakes that resulted in deaths.
She further said that the mistakes were committed from both sides.
