Islamabad: Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain on Thursday said that government is decreasing upto Rs 10 on petrol and Rs 6/kg on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
The petroleum Minister said that the decision was made on the special directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
“Due to the fall of prices in International market, the government is now transferring the benefit to the people of Pakistan,” he said adding that hopefully the inflation would decrease and people would take a shy of relief.
