Los Angeles: At least four people were injured in an explosion, apparently at a south Los Angeles meat market on Thursday.
Two of the victims were believed to be critically injured, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The blast was heard about 6.40pm local time and all four were taken to a local hospital.
A fire department spokesman was unsure what caused the explosion. No further details were available.
