Islamabad: Attorney General Irfan Qadir on Thursday created mess in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, setting aside moral values for the sake of his masters, sitting in the power corridors.
Junior lawyers lost their patience following the uproar and tried to scuffle with the AG, a close relative of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) stalwart Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar.
Correspondents say the AG vented his anger against the apex court for its ruling against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in contempt case when the court took up Hamid Khan’s plea against the ruling of Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza in the favour of leader of the house .
The AG also used vulgar hand gesture for the bench while leaving the court room following the verbal altercation before the court called in security staff.
