Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday has indicated the chances of dust thunderstorm/light rain is likely at isolated places of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha and Faisalabad divisions during evening/night time.
Mainly hot and dry weather is likely at most parts of Punjab during next 24 hours.
According to the Synoptic Situation, seasonal low lies over Balochistan with its trough extending southeast wards.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts with chances of dust-thunderstorm/light rain at Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand & Hazara divisions during night time.
In Sindh and Balochistan, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province during next 24 hrs.
Mostly Partly cloudy weather is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan with chances of rain/thunderstorm at isolated places of Kashmir during evening/night.
The yesterday’s highest maximum temperature recorded in Turbat was 45C.
The maximum temperatures of other cities during last 24 hours were Islamabad 37 C, Lahore 36C , Quetta 32 C, Karachi 34 C, Peshawar 37 C, Muzaffarabad 35 C, Gilgit 33 C, Murree 23 C, Multan 36 C, Faisalabad 36C.
The chief amount of rainfall(mm) recorded during last 24 hours were Kakul and Rawalakot 21 mm, Murree 19 mm, Zhob 15, Lahore 11 mm, Sialkot 10 mm, Parachinar 08 mm, Gujranwala, D.G Khan and Dadu 07mm, Kohat 05mm, Chitral, Mangla and Barkhan 02 mm each.
