Islamabad: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, Justice Khilji Arif Hussian and Justice Jawad S. Khwaja on Friday resumed the hearing of a petition on the law and order situation and human rights violations in Balochistan.
Raja Irshad, a counsel of secret agencies, told the bench that IG FC could not appear before the apex court as he was on Iran visit. The CJ expressed displeasure of the IG’s absence and directed Irsha to summon him tomorrow.
“Three people were picked up during the hearing of the case and bodies of three whose cases are being heard have recovered,” the CJ remarked.
Justice Khilji said that no body could be given license to kill anyone.
Balochistan Cheif Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani is also present in the court room.
