Islamabad: The Supreme Court on Thursday annoyed over noncompliance of its orders of bringing police officer Hussain Asghar back into Haj corruption case investigation.
A three-judge bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry sought clarification from establishment division and interior secretary.
The CJ remarked the court had previously ordered reappointment of Mr Asghar as investigation officer in the case but the orders were not implemented.
The CJ asked Deputy Attorney Gen Shafique Chandio that the court’s orders in Balochistan cas regarding police officeres had been implemented but it was not done in Haj corruption case.
The DAG failed to satisfy the court.
It is to mention here that Hussain Asgahr was appointed as IG Gilgit-Baltistan when he had started exposing bigwigs for their corruption in Haj affairs.
