Rome: Napoli won the Italian Cup on Sunday beating Serie A champion Juventus 2-0.
The event came as the first major trophy win in 22 years and first defeat for Juventus in all competitions this season.
Hopes by Italian soccer’s Serie A champions Juventus of a double have been shattered after the Napoli win.
Napoli last won the Cup in 1987 and won Serie A in 1990.
Pescara will join Torino in the top tier after a 19-year wait following a 3-1 win at Sampdoria. Torino will be again in action in Serie A next season following three-year absence after beating Modena 2-0.
