Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has convened a joint session of Senate and the National Assembly on May 21 at 5:00p.m , said a statement issued here on Friday.
According to the statement Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will address the joint sitting of the parliament.
Erdogan will pay a three-day official visit to Pakistan from May 20 to May 23 on the invitation of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The Turkish prime minister will be accompanied by the first lady and high-powered delegation.
The government of Turkey bestowed a unique honour on Gilani during his visit to Turkey in December 2010 where he addressed the Turkish parliament.
The Turkish prime minister will also co-chair the second High Level Cooperation Council meeting along with Prime Minister Gilani in Islamabad.
Both leaders will address the joint press conference after signing five agreements of cooperation between the two countries.
